Financial Aid and Other Student Resources
Students wishing to be competitive for scholarships and awards in most cases must complete a Financial Aid Form from that office on campus (515-2554). The Faculty Committee on Awards and Scholarships will make determinations based upon the specified criteria established by the sponsor(s) and apply those monies in a fair and equitable manner. Students who wish to be competitive MUST be on the need list that is generated by the Financial Aid Office to be eligible. Other non-university awards, scholarships, grants, loans and competitions for students are received from time to time and will be forwarded to the class president for distribution to the class. Those announcements will be made known to the appropriate students (i.e., Maryland scholarships will be made known to Maryland residents) when received.
