"Cooperative
Training in Environmental Sciences Research"
Cooperative Agreement with U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency.
This cooperative agreement is a training grant that provides
stipend and tuition support for postdoctoral and predoctoral
trainees who work on collaborative projects between NCSU faculty
from several different colleges (Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture
and Life Sciences, Physical and Mathematical Sciences) and EPA
scientists. There have been over 20 of these positions filled
over the last three years.
"Environmental Molecular
and Cellular Pathology"
Training Grant from the National Institute
of Environmental Health Sciences.
This is a training grant from NIH for stipend and tuition support
for postdoctoral research specifically designed for individuals
with the DVM degree who have finished their residency in Pathology
and are enrolled in the Ph.D. program with a research project
involving some aspect of molecular pathology. Areas of interest
are inflammation, carcinogenesis, signal transduction, and molecular
immunology and toxicology. There are four positions per year
on this grant.
