Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear medicine scans provide information on the function of the body's organs. A small amount of radioactive material is taken into the body through injection or inhalation. As the radioactive material decays, the gamma camera records the information and provides an image.

Picker PRISM 3000XP Triple Head Gamma Camera

The Picker Prism 3000XP Triple Head Gamma Camera provides a 400mm x 240mm field-of-view and acquires up to three times more SPECT data than the conventional gamma camera in the same amount of time. The PRISM 3000XP can perform planar imaging, including cardiac gated studies and includes collimators in all energy ranges up to 511 KeV.
