Lectures will be given using a case-based approach. Extensive use of videos of clinical cases will give participants a ‘real life’ experience whilst at the lectures. Topics may include general principles of emergency surgery, as well as surgical management of a variety of abdominal and respiratory emergencies. Specific cases may include hemoabdomen, gastric dilatation volvulus (GDV), penetrating abdominal trauma, uroabdomen, urethral calculi, chest drain placement, brachycephalic syndrome, diaphragmatic hernia and thoracic trauma.

Each day will consist of 4 hours of lectures from 8:00am - Noon

Rates quoted are per room per day for single/double occupancy. Over and above double occupancy is an additional $50 per person per day (12 years old and up). Additionally there is a one-time per person charge of $6.00 for bellman gratuities.
