Clinical Dermatology: Topics of Relevance to General Practitioners

Program Overview

This one-day course is aimed at presenting topics related to common skin diseases of dogs and cats.  The program covers a spectrum of subjects, from the clinical approach to common problems, areas of controversy and update on new treatments.

The seminar will encompass four lectures by NC State clinicians and a two-hour interactive session between a dermatologist and dermatopathologist.  At the end of this seminar, the participants will be familiar with the new standard-of-care treatment of atopic dermatitis in dogs, the diagnosis of common alopecic skin diseases of dogs and an overview of cutaneous markers of internal diseases.

Registration Fees

Registration for this course is $145. The fee include lunch and proceedings on CD-ROM. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation within four (4) days of sending your registration, please check your spam folder. If it is not there, contact our office at 919-513-6366.

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be granted for notices received in writing, either by mail, fax, or e-mail, by the end of early registration. A refund less a 25% administrative fee will be granted for requests received during late registration. No refunds will be granted after the course has begun.

Location & Lodging

These courses will be held at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine at 4700 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh, NC. The Ramada Inn Blue Ridge is located immediately next door for out of town attendees.

Continuing Education

This courses offers six (6) hours of continuing veterinary medical education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
