Litwack Lecture:

Thank you to our 2013 Litwack Lecturer, Dr. Peter Doherty

Dr. Peter Doherty is a Laureate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Melbourne. He is also a Michael F. Tamer Chair in the Department of Immunology at St Jude’s Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  Dr. Doherty is a co-recipient of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the discovery of how the immune system recognizes virus-infected cells.
