The Speakers Bureau is a student run organization within the College of Veterinary Medicine that provides the public with an opportunity to have veterinary students come and speak at organized events. Student can speak on a wide range of topics including: the role of veterinarians in the public, job opportunities in the veterinary field, and what it’s like in veterinary school. If alternative topics are required, speakers can lecture on just about any subject veterinary related! Speakers can also disseminate informational brochures on topics such as: the requirements to get into veterinary school or the basics of preventative medicine. Speakers frequently bring interactive models from the anatomy lab which happens to be a huge hit with the students!
Inquiries for speakers can be made by contacting the Continuing Education Office at firstname.lastname@example.org and arrangements will be made in a timely manner.
