2012 Year End Giving Information
NC State University will be closed December 22, 2012 through January 1, 2013 for winter break. However, 2012 gifts can still be made through December 31, 2012 by referring to the following guidelines:
Gifts by Credit Card
It it important to know that the date of a credit card gift is the date the gift is processed by your financial institution (not when received or processed by us). Therefore, your credit card gift must be processed by December 31, 2012 by 11:59 p.m. to receive 2012 credit.
Online: The easiest way to make your year-end gift is through our secure online giving site at https://ccfn.ncsu.edu/advancement-services/giving/VM/. Credit card gifts made through our online giving site are processed and receipted immediately. Online gifts must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2012 to receive 2012 credit.
By phone: If you prefer to make a credit card gift by phone, University staff will be on call during normal business hours (8am-5pm EST) December 26-31, 2012 to speak with donors and accept credit card gifts. Credit card gifts will be processed by University staff through 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2012. The telephone number for phoning in gifts is 919.515.7827.
By mail: Please mail your credit card gifts in time to arrive at our office by December 19, 2012. If you think your credit card gift will not reach us by this date, please use our secureonline giving site or make your gift by phone at 919.515.7827.
Gifts by Check or Money Order
To ensure 2012 tax credit, please mail any gifts by check or money order in time to arrive in our office by December 19, 2012.
Make checks payable to NC Veterinary Medical Foundation (or NCVMF) and specify how your donation is to be used in the memo line or with an attached note. Mail to:

Gifts of Securities
Securities must be received in one of our brokerage accounts with Wells Fargo Advisors by December 31, 2012 in order to be deductible in 2012.
We will need the following information to transfer securities:
- Donor Name
- Security Name
- Number of Shares (or type of security for others)
- Expected Date of Transfer
- Transferring Brokerage Firm
- Name of NCVMF Fund Receiving Gift
