Directions to EHC-SP

The Equine Health Center at Southern Pines (EHC-SP) is located on US Hwy 1 just North of the town of Southern Pines, North Carolina. It is within easy access to I-95 and I-40 and is centrally located along the Atlantic Coast.

Directions from Raleigh

Travel Hwy 440 to US Hwy 1 South. Turn South onto US Hwy 1 towards Sanford and Southern Pines. As you pass by the exit for Vass, continue driving South on US Hwy 1 for 5 miles. Look for the large red sign, "The NC State Equine Health Center", on the left. Turn left onto Equestrian Road. Take the first left and you will be facing a black metal gate. Stop on the white line and the gate will open automatically. The office is the first brick building on the left.

Directions from Chapel Hill

Travel Hwy 15/501 South through Pittsboro to Sanford. Turn right onto US Hwy 1 South towards Vass and Southern Pines. As you pass by the exit for Vass, continue driving South on US Hwy 1 for 5 miles. Look for the large red sign, "The NC State Equine Health Center", on the left. Turn left onto Equestrian Road. Take the first left and you will be facing a black metal gate. Stop on the white line and the gate will open automatically. The office is the first brick building on the left.

Directions from Greensboro/Winston Salem

Travel Hwy 220 South (past the Zoo exit). Exit onto Hwy 211 East, towards Pinehurst. Continue on Hwy 211 East to Pinehurst Traffic Circle. Get on the circle, then take the 3rd exit to the right, Hwy 2 (Midland Road). Continue East on Midland Road for about 3.5 miles, until you drive under the overpass of US Hwy 1. Immediately turn left onto US Hwy 1 North. Travel US Hwy 1 North about 3 miles. Look for the large red sign, "The NC State Equine Health Center", on the right. Just before the sign, turn right and then take your first left and you will be facing a black metal gate. Stop on the white line and the gate will open automatically. The office is the first brick building on the left.

Directions from Fayetteville

Travel Hwy 401 South towards Raeford, until it intersects with Hwy 211. Turn West onto Hwy 211. Travel Hwy 211 West towards Aberdeen until it intersects with Hwy 15/501. Turn right and travel Hwy 15/501 North for 0.3 miles, then turn right onto US Hwy 1 North. Continue travel on US Hwy 1 North through the towns of Aberdeen and Southern Pines. At the last stoplight, you will see a green overhead directional sign to "US 1 Sanford". Stay to the left towards Sanford. Continue travel on US Hwy 1 North about 5 miles. You will see a white block church on the right named "Sandhills Assembly of God". After the curve, look to the right and you will see a large red sign, "The NC State Equine Health Center", on the right. Just before the sign, turn right and then take your first left and you will be facing a black metal gate. Stop on the white line and the gate will open automatically. The office is the first brick building on the left.

Directions from Charlotte

Travel Hwy 74 East to Rockingham. In Rockingham, follow signs for US Hwy 1 North towards Aberdeen and Southern Pines. Continue travel on US Hwy 1 North through the towns of Aberdeen and Southern Pines. At the last stoplight, you will see a green overhead directional sign to "US 1 Sanford". Stay to the left towards Sanford. Continue travel on US Hwy 1 North about 5 miles. You will see a white block church on the right named "Sandhills Assembly of God". After the curve, look to the right and you will see a large red sign, "The NC State Equine Health Center", on the right. Just before the sign, turn right and then take your first left and you will be facing a black metal gate. Stop on the white line and the gate will open automatically. Directions from the town of Southern Pines

Travel US Hwy 1 North about 5 miles. You will see a white block church on the right named "Sandhills Assembly of God". After the curve, look to the right and you will see a large red sign, "The NC State Equine Health Center", on the right. Just before the sign, turn right and then take your first left and you will be facing a black metal gate. Stop on the white line and the gate will open automatically. The office is the first brick building on the left.
