Appointments
In most cases, the patient's primary veterinarian will call the Ophthalmology service and provide us with previous medical history and referral information. Once the referral has been made, owners can call to schedule an appointment.

It is not possible for us to provide advice about patient treatment over the phone or by email; however we will glady schedule appointments and provide you with some general information about the problem.
Appointments for the Equine Ophthalmology Service
New equine referral and recheck appointments will be routinely available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, although the service will operate on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis for emergency or urgent cases. Appointment scheduling will be through the central Ophthalmology phone number at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, 919.513.6659.
